Jeanette Jones is the Vice President of Alliances at Immuta.
Jeanette Jones has over 25 years in technology sales. She started her career selling infrastructure and storage, which is where she learned the art of value selling -- understanding client needs, the business outcomes they desired, and building trusted relationships. She also discovered how to sell through and with them, expanding routes to market, creating lower touch for sales and reducing sales cycles, which was the beginning of the Alliance function as we know it today. After 9/11, Jeanette’s career pivoted to cyber security and she joined McAfee, where she had the opportunity to build the Alliance teams in both the private and public sectors.
At McAfee, Jeanette met some of the most interesting and inspiring leaders in our industry today. She went on to work for several of them, building and leading Alliance teams at companies like AppDynamics (now Cisco), Bluecoat/Symantec (now Broadcom), Menlo and Decisionlink (now xFactor).
“I was empowered to lead from the front and hire based on DNA not necessarily on experience or friendships. I see this as something missing within so many companies today and why many Alliance teams are not as successful as they could be.”
She was drawn to Immuta’s unique position in the market, crossing over in two sectors – data and security. As organizations move from legacy apps to the cloud, they are realizing the importance and challenges of protecting their data. Immuta’s Data Security Platform allows modern organizations to spend more time scaling and innovating, and less time worrying about data security.
