Meet Moritz Plassnig

Moritz “Mo” Plassnig is the Chief Product Officer of Immuta, whose mission is to make the future of data secure. He previously started and sold his own company in the developer tool space. Mo is passionate about helping companies modernize their data stack, building companies, and spending time outdoors in the mountains in Colorado.

About Mo

Mo joined Immuta in May 2021 as Immuta’s first Chief Product Officer, responsible for running engineering, product management, and marketing.

Mo loves building companies and software products. He got his career started when he built and sold Codeship (a SaaS CI/CD product). He grew it to over 2,800 customers, and sold it to CloudBees in 2018. At CloudBees, the leading DevOps company, Mo ran Corporate Business Development where he was responsible for making some acquisitions, and he also served as the General Manager for their cloud/SaaS business.

Outside of Immuta, Mo enjoys going back to his Austrian roots on the ski slopes and mountain biking around Colorado. He is an accomplished angel investor in data and developer tools and also served on the board of CloudSkiff (acquired by Snyk).
