Announcing SOC 2 Type 2 Attestation at Immuta

Provisioned Access

Reinforcing our commitment to data protection and security

At Immuta, the security of our customers’ data is of paramount importance. We are thrilled to announce that our SaaS deployment option has achieved Service Control Organization (SOC 2) Type 2 attestation as part of our ongoing commitment to providing the highest level of security and assurance.

What is SOC 2 Type 2?

SOC 2 Type 2 report captures how a company’s internal controls safeguard customer data and how well those controls are operating. Companies that use cloud service providers refer to SOC 2 reports to assess and address the risks associated with third party technology services. These reports are issued by an independent third-party CPA auditing firm and can encompass up to five trust services criteria categories relevant to Security, Availability, Processing Integrity, Confidentiality and/or Privacy.

To maintain a successful attestation, Immuta will continue to be audited annually.

Why is SOC 2 Type 2 Important?

The SOC 2 Type 2 audit provides an independent assessment of Immuta’s security control environment. The assessment includes a description of the controls, the tests performed to assess them, the results of these tests, and an overall opinion on the controls’ design and operational effectiveness.

Immuta’s SOC 2 Type 2 report satisfies the AICPA’s Trust Services Principles and Criteria for Security.
