BOSTON, August 7, 2024 – Immuta today announced Matt Benigni has joined their leadership team as Vice President of Public Sector Strategy, increasing public sector momentum at the data-focused startup. At Immuta, Matt will lead Immuta’s Public Sector team in helping US Government agencies tap into the full potential of their data, while ensuring it remains secure, compliant, and accessible.
WHAT: Immuta has hired Matt Benigni as VP of Public Sector Strategy, who will fuel Immuta’s next stage of growth in the public sector. Immuta’s public sector customers currently include the Department of Defense’s (DoD’s) enterprise-wide, multi-domain data, analytics, and artificial intelligence (AI) platform (ADVANA), the Navy’s Military Sealift Command, and the US Air Force’s VAULT program, as well as analytics efforts within USSOCOM. Benigni will be a critical component to growing this customer base.
WHO: Matt Benigni is an experienced technical adviser and team builder. Prior to Immuta, Benigni served in the Army for 26 years, most recently serving as Chief Data Analytics Officer for the Army Futures Command (AFC) and led AFC’s Next Generation Command and Control efforts. He also spent four years as Chief Data Scientist for the Joint Special Operations Command. He has extensive experience working with the Department of Defense (DoD), special operations, intelligence community, and coalition practitioners transforming enterprise data governance, infrastructure, and analytics.
