How to Design & Implement a GRC Framework for Enterprise Analytics

Speaker
  • Richard Geering SVP, Strategic Initiatives

What is a GRC Framework?

A governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) framework allows organizations to systematically and strategically manage and minimize risks of unauthorized data access, misuse, leaks, breaches, and other malicious activity. It includes the policies, processes, stakeholders, and technologies that play a role in protecting data, as well as contingency plans in the event of an incident.

In today’s data-rich world and the risks associated with it, it’s critical for organizations to adopt a GRC framework that approaches analytics initiatives with an eye on data risk management and protection. Preparedness is the best first line of defense against threats to data that could result in costly fines and reputational damage.

To help remove the complexity and guesswork from the process of building a GRC framework, this webinar provides a blueprint for managing data security and minimizing risk in enterprise data analytics projects.

In part one, Richard Geering, Immuta’s SVP of Strategic Initiatives and former Chief Operational Risk Officer for a Fortune 300 bank, will guide you through the lifecycle of a data project, highlighting areas that present the largest risks and recommending risk management strategies.

You’ll walk away from this webinar with the principles for identifying and assessing privacy risks within your organization. Once you’re done, check out part 2 here.
