The End of Privacy

The rapid evolution of technology is challenging our fundamental – and increasingly outdated – conceptions of privacy. What regulatory framework can help secure individuals’ personal data in this new age? How should we even think about privacy when our “digital exhaust” is everywhere?

Our CPO Andrew Burt and In-Q-Tel’s CISO Dan Geer collaborated on an op-ed to shed some light on these issues – and to offer some answers. In particular, they believe that, while far from perfect, the EU’s new General Data Protection Regulation offers some valuable lessons on how to protect privacy in the age of big data.
