Credit Suisse Names Immuta a Disruptive Technology Award Winner

Boston, MA, January 12, 2021  Immuta, the automated data governance company, today announced that it has been named to Credit Suisse’s 2021 Disruptive Technology Recognition (DTR) Program, an annual program recognizing the bank’s top five technology partners that are disrupting traditional enterprise information technology.

Credit Suisse selected Immuta for its innovative Automated Data Governance Platform, which empowers data teams to deliver automated, secure access to analytics data to enable faster, more compliant BI, data science, and data sharing initiatives.

“Our DTR program looks specifically for game-changing companies that focus on improving enterprise technology, with broad applicability across industries. Immuta’s platform checks these boxes by fundamentally changing how we use and share enterprise analytics data,” said Anurag Sehgal, Managing Director, Head of IB Data Analytics, Data & Digital Innovation Incubator at Credit Suisse. “What makes Immuta unique is how its platform unlocks our data’s value by making it automatically, yet securely available to all the analysts who need it–regardless of what BI or data science tools they’re using. What would normally require a team of data engineers and complex approval processes can be automated with Immuta – reducing time to data, infrastructure costs, and security vulnerabilities. Immuta is quickly becoming a transformative technology in Credit Suisse’s modern data platform.”

The DTR Program was created to highlight innovation and collaboration at the bank and at partner firms. Winners of this year’s awards demonstrated a unique ability to improve enterprise technology with broad applications across industries. Notable data technology innovators recognized in past years include Snowflake, Databricks, and Confluent.

“We are honored to join Credit Suisse’s exclusive group of game-changing IT disruptors,” said Matt Carroll, CEO, Immuta. “Large, regulated financial services organizations, like Credit Suisse, are struggling with how to utilize and gain value from their data while ensuring compliant data use amidst an increasingly complex regulatory landscape. Our platform solves this problem by accelerating time to data while ensuring all data consumers have the rights to the data they see and use. We’re proud to partner with Credit Suisse to help the bank automate data access controls and privacy protection as they move to a modern analytics stack.”
